Right now Auralith is being torn apart by so far, a cold civil war. Taken over by Director Scythe 20 years ago, the country is enduring the worst of the Resonance Plague. Rumors spread of a lie in the mix and of the mysterious Listener who can expose it. Scythe has been. Overthrown and Auralith and the Atheria herself rejoices! A global government along with each nation’s unique government runs the world. Equal to one another. Atheria has fully adopted the Houses of Seven Questions.

Geography & Climate

Location: Northeastern Atheria, where the dense, ancient Myrshadow Forest meets the cold, fog-shrouded waters of the Onyxmere (the coastal sea).

Terrain

• Fjord-like inlets carve a dramatic coastline of black-sand beaches and basalt cliffs
• Tide-lantern coves where bioluminescent marine life pulses in the mist
• Dense forest rising inland to stony highlands threaded with glassy, resonant rivers
• Rich in crystal seams: smoky quartz, amethyst, obsidian, and the native aevestone that hums when touched

The Bioluminescent Ecosystem

Nearly every branch, lichen, jellyfish, and reef pulses with internal bioluminescence. At night, the undercanopy glows like constellations fallen to earth. The architecture is designed to collect and channel this natural light.

Vespertide: The Long Dusk

For nearly half the year, the sun hovers at the horizon, creating a perpetual soft twilight the Vespralith call Vespertide. During this time:
