What they do (publicly)

• Fund treatment for the sick, especially astral exposure illness, resonance cancers, and memory-wasting syndromes.
• Run free clinics during storm seasons.
• Offer scholarships to “bright kids who can’t afford to stay.”

What they do (actually)

• Control and sell trade timing:
  • early conjunction forecasts
  • “corrected” omen-readings
  • safe windows through the Astral Plains
• Move Dreaming through medical channels:
  • prescribed as “sleep therapy”
  • administered as “pain relief”
  • rationed to create gentle, grateful dependence
