"Pitch-Rot!" The F-word equivalent. Used when something goes catastrophically wrong. It implies the very foundation of the melody is decaying.
"You Absolute Sludge-Note."
- The ultimate insult. You are calling someone a sound so ugly and misplaced that it threatens the harmony of the room.
"Void-Sucker."
- Highly offensive. Accusing someone of leaning into the Void’s hunger. It’s the Atherian way of calling someone a "soulless drain" on society.
"Go Lick a Brine-Ghost."
- The "Go jump in a lake" equivalent. A way of telling someone to go find a bitter punishment and leave you alone.
"Hush-Bait."
- Used for someone who won't stop complaining and is practically begging for a Magistrate to suture their mouth shut.
"Unwoven."
- A very dark curse. To call someone "unwoven" is to say they are falling apart into decoherence—the ultimate fear for anyone in Atheria.
